Weekend Wrap Up

We didn't have a ton of plans this weekend which was nice considering I'll be out of town the next 3 weekends. Soph and I had our six month dentist appointments on Saturday. Sophia was soo excited. She loves going to the dentist. She also remembered she'd get to play with their babies and pirate ship. When it was her turn she sat in the chair and didn't move while they cleaned her teeth. Such a big girl:

 We also took her to the pet store to get acouple new fish for her fish tank. She wanted a dog of course.

Gymnastics

We decided to take a break from soccer and try something new so Soph had her first gymnastics class yesterday. She's been excited since I bought her a new leotard this weekend. I wasn't sure how she'd do but she really liked it. She did really well. The teacher called on her to help demonstrate a flip on the bars and I wasn't sure if Soph would go in front of the class but she jumped up, was super excited and did it. I was so proud of her.

This past week

We've had a pretty low key week. We didn't have many plans...which turned out to be nice since Soph woke up at 1:00 a.m. this morning with the flu. We've been VERY lucky because this is Soph's first time having the flu and only her second time vomiting (first time was on an airplane when she was 8 months old). We were up all night with poor Sophia. I felt soo bad for her. She didn't understand why she was getting sick. I tried to comfort her as much as I could. After getting sick acouple times, her and I went downstairs in the living room to watch her favorite movie, Frozen. She got sick again, then after getting cleaned up, we laid down together and she finally fell asleep for acouple hours. After she woke up this morning she got sick again after drinking some Pedialite and wasn't feeling well all day. Finally, by evening she was starting to act more like herself.  We had acouple nice days this week and after I picked Soph up from school we went to the park, then to get ice cream:

Last Soccer Class

After playing soccer for 7 months, this past Thursday was Soph's last class. We're taking a break and trying gymnastics starting on Tuesday. Soph loves soccer but I think she's ready to try something else. I asked her last week if she wants to play soccer again or start gymnastics and she said gymnastics. We'll see how this goes.

Zoo

On Friday it was near 60 degrees so we took Soph to the Zoo. Despite not seeing alot of animals because they weren't out, we still had fun, and enjoyed being outside.
