Gatlinburg

While we were in TN we also went to Gatlinburg for the day. First we went on a hike to the top of the mountain:

 

 We made it to the top and the kids loved the waterfall:

 Then we went to lunch and Soph wanted her picture here with Grandma Sharon and Grandpa Jim:

 We also had ice cream:

Norris Lake

We packed up the car and drove to Norris Lake a few weeks ago. We all had a blast with the family.

 

The car ride was awful....it took us close to seven hours to get there. Eli started off rear facing but after several hours we switched him to forward facing.

 

 I ended up sitting in the back with the kids for awhile:

 When we stopped for gas Eli got in front to drive:

 Before we got there Soph got car sick and vomitted all over. We were thrilled to finally make it. Once we got there the kids wanted to feed the deer:

 I mean this view is everything:

 Aunt Linds got Soph her own mermaid blanket:

 The kids were up bright and early the next morning. So that they wouldn't wake up everyone I took them for a nice long walk:

 Then we fed the deer again:

 And played with bubbles:

 And then played jenga:

 Then El woke up and we went for a ride:

 We also went to the Tiki Bar restaurant for dinner one night. They had games and a foam party for the kids:
