Pumpkin Patch

We took the kiddos to the pumpkin patch a few weeks ago.

They loved the slide (and I love that Soph had Eli on her lap - which was totally her idea):

Of course they had to ride the horses:

Eli was obsessed with the chickens:
 Hayride:

Trying to pick the perfect pumpkins:

 Eli found several:

Soph searched for a LONG time:

Trying to get a picture of both kids - looking at the camera AND smiling - is very difficult.

Clearly Eli had enough with the pictures:

Eli with the chickens right before one got him. That didn't stop him though - he kept going back for more.

Soph's first lacrosse season

Instead of playing soccer this Fall, Soph decided to try out lacrosse and she loved it. She was on a coed team which I think was a little more intense as the boys were pretty rough but she really liked it. And, by the last game, she even scored two goals. I am so proud of our girl for trying something new. She said she wants to play again in the Spring!

First game:
 #11

 Picture day:

Nana and Poppy came to watch her play:
Since El's schedule is crazy I had to take Eli to every game by myself. He is a wild man so I literally chased him for an hour and a half every Saturday. It was exhausting. I did bring him a soccer ball and he'd play for a bit.

He loved cheering on his big sissy!
Nana and Poppy came for a second game. Sophia loved having them come and watch her! And, of course, Eli was poppy's boy!
Misty and the kids came to watch one of Soph's games as well. Jax and Eli cheering on Soph:
She got a medal and a trophy on her last game:

Eli wants to play lacrosse now:
So proud of this girl! She was literally the smallest and youngest girl on the team but tried her hardest and really enjoyed playing!

Apple picking

We went apple picking a few weeks ago which is one of my favorite Fall activities.

The kids both loved picking apples:
 Eli picked and then ate....

Eli was SOO happy about his "juicy apples"
