Tiny Doors

Last Sunday Soph and I had lunch with Olivia and Addie. We let Addie pick the restaurant and she decided on Cane's Chicken.

Soph loves Addie and always wants to do whatever Addie is doing. I love this picture of Addie and Soph. It reminds me of Misty and I when we were their age:

Then we went to Gigi's cupcakes:

Last week I had to go into the office to pick up my business cards so I asked El and Soph to go with me so we could check out something a friend of mine had on her Instagram....Tiny Doors. Keebler has been building tiny doors acrossed America and Columbus was one of the lucky cities to be selected. Soph loves Tinker Bell so I thought this would be a fun thing for her to see. We went to Schiller Park which is really pretty. When I worked at Grange I'd walk to this park with co-workers and walk on our lunch.

Soph and I:
I'm not sure why these pictures are sideways so its hard to see. Soph checking out the first tiny door:

We left Tinker Bell a message:

It was such a fun experience.

Random Post

Here's some random pictures from this past week. Last Monday we made our own pizza's. Soph loves making pizzas and likes to make El's as well.
Then we went outside to play and El turned his back and turned around only to find Soph fully clothed in her pool. I guess she wanted to cool off lol.
The Beaty's were on vacation last week so we were watching Bentley. Soph loves him. Here she's laughing at him and Maya:

 She loves playing dress up:
El took Soph to the Zoo last week on his day off. Here they're riding the train:
On Saturday morning I took Soph to the splash pad and park. She prefers the park over the splash pad but still had fun. She HAD to wear this bathing suit that her Nana recently bought her. She threw a fit until I let her wear it.

4th of July

We had a great 4th of July despite Elliott having to work that night. First, we started the day with the parade. Soph loves parade mainly for the candy lol. We met some of our friends and watched the parade together.

Soph and Mackenzie:
Baby Sonny also met us and Soph and Mackenzie loved him....and he loved them. He kept smiling at them.
 Soph after the parade:
Later (after a nap) we met some friends at Alum Creek Beach. It was a lot of fun. They had rides, food, a beer tent and fireworks.
 Soph loved the rides:
 This picture is too sweet:
 Olivia and Jax:
 Soph and Addie:
Waiting on the fireworks to start:
Then on Saturday we went to the Beaty's for a cookout. Soph was soo excited to see Olivia again.

The kids also had fun with sparklers:

Such a fun weekend!

Dayton Dragons Game

Elliott had last Thursday off so we went to the Dayton Dragon's game. Soph loves going to see the Dragon's play. She has already gone acouple times - her first time was when she was just three weeks old. Here's a picture (which was also our first family picture):

She's also gone acouple times with her Grandma Sharon and Grandpa Jim as they have season passes. This game was a lot of fun and Grandpa Jim had his work suite so that's where we stayed the entire game.

Soph with Grandma Sharon and Grandpa Jim:
Family pic (I wanted to recreate the picture from when Soph was 3 weeks old but because where the sun was positioned it didn't work out):
 Heater:
Jim (which Soph was confused by because of Grandpa's name is Jim lol):
Grandma Sharon got Soph some dippin dots:
 Watching the game:
During the game an awful thing happened. One of the baseball players hit the ball and it went into the stands and hit a little boy which knocked him out. They carried him out and rushed him to Children's Hospital. We aren't sure if he's ok, however, we've been praying for him every since. Each night Soph remembers to pray for the little boy who got hit in the head with a baseball. It's very sweet to hear her every night explain to God what happened to him. We hope he's ok.

Grandpa's Annual Hog Roast

Last weekend we went to the lake for my grandpa's annual hog roast. Because of El's new schedule it didn't make sense for him to drive the 2 hours each way to go, plus he had a lot of school work to finish. So, Soph and I packed up my rental car and went to the lake for the afternoon. Soph had so much fun.

Soph and Poppy riding the golf cart:
 Three generations:
 Soph loves her Uncle Dexter:
Cousins (minus Misty, Macy, Olivia, Addie and Jax):
 Love my grandpa!
My parents ordered koozie's and Soph passed them out to everyone. She took one and put her sippy cup in it lol!
Soph loves her Grandma Elders. She rode around the golf cart with her and sat on her lap:
Soph also shucked corn for the first time:
