Apple Orchard/Pumkin Patch

Last weekend we took Soph to Lynd Fruit Farm. It was REALLY cold but Soph still had fun. We went to the same place last year because they have an apple orchard and pumpkin patch at the same place.

Zoo, Pumpkin Painting

Today the Zoo came to Sophia's school. She loved it! Soph and her class looking at the animals:

One day last week, El took Soph on a hike near our house. Soph stopping to pose for a picture:

We bought Soph these little pumpkins last week before we went to the pumpkin patch. We let her decorate them:

She wanted to put them on the bail of hay:

We finally went to the pumpkin patch last Sunday so we now have big pumpkins for our bail of hay. I'll post those pictures later.

Run Like A Girl

Sophia had her "Run Like A Girl" race on Saturday morning. It was really cold, but she had a lot of fun. She couldn't wait to get her medal.

They had this "I ran like a girl and I liked it" sign and I tried getting a picture of Soph standing in front of it but she didn't want to. This was the best I could get:
 Here's the sign:
Soph was excited before the race started:

Here's a video of Soph running in the race (this video and all the photos above were taken by my iphone so the quality isn't great):

Sophia's First Haircut

After a lot of thought and advice from my hair stylist, we finally took Soph to get her first haircut. Soph's hair isn't growing very fast and she has really fine hair so my hair stylist suggested getting her hair trimmed since its still her baby hair and said it would make her hair grow faster and thicker. So, I made Soph an appointment at Sweet and Sassy. Soph was excited all day to FINALLY get her hair cut. She thinks her hair is really long. We just go with it. :)

The stylist let her pick what color of "cape" she wanted to wear and she said "pink because that's my favorite color."
 This is the before picture:
Soph told the girl she wanted glitter in her hair.
After getting her hair cut they let her pick a sucker and then a flower for her hair. Then, she got to walk on the runway while they took her picture.
 Striking a pose:
While she was getting her hair cut the lady asked her if she has any brothers or sisters and without thinking, Soph responded "Yes, I have a brother." LOL! We had to remind her that she doesn't have a brother. Wishful thinking!

She did great and loved every second of it. When it was time to leave she said she wanted to stay there.
