What have we been up to....

Here's some more random pictures from the past several weeks.

A few weeks ago we had my grandpa's 80th birthday party back at home. The theme was "cheers to 80 years" and we had the party at his favorite, hole in the wall, local bar, Bings. We got him this super cute beer cake made:
 Me, Whit and Misty:
 The girls:

 Oh Eli:
 Eli is obsessed with balloons:

Someone wasn't happy about taking pictures:
Ready to cheer on the Buckeyes:
I took both kiddos to the zoo one Saturday before the game started. They loved feeding the birds:

Despite me telling Eli NOT to touch the birds...he still did.
 This kid has NO fear:

 He's such a happy baby:
We had a cookout a few weeks ago with some friends and had to get a picture of these four. They are all a few months apart.

One day these two fell asleep like this on the couch:
 Eli loves to color:
But it typically only lasts a few minutes before he starts eating the crayons:

Eli loves cookies like his mama

Fall Soccer

Soph started Fall soccer a few weeks ago. She loves it and has improved so much. I think being on an all girl team makes a HUGE difference. She's more confident, she's aggressive and loves it.

Taking a water break during her first practice:

First game - showing off her name and number (when I played sports as a kid I was always number 3 or 4 so I was excited when she came home with #3):
 My girl:
Soph with her good friend from school, Camryn. They take swim lessons, soccer and gymnastics together.
 Soph in action:

 Eli during Soph's game:
He likes to run on the field (and keeps me VERY busy):

So proud of my girl! She LOVES scoring goals and her top game was a total of 5 goals.

Catch up

I'm trying to play catch up on my blog. Below are some random pictures from the past few weeks.

One Friday we went to dinner in Delaware and they had the streets blocked off for an art show and also had "touch a truck" which both kids LOVED.
All ready for the first OSU game:

Soph had her six month cleaning and had NO cavities:
I love when they play together and laugh together:
El took the kids for a hike on his day off:

And also to the zoo another day:
One Friday night I took the kids to the Beaty's pool. They had so much fun and Soph is soo comfortable in the water now. Every penny spent on swim lessons the past several months have been worth it.

 Eli had fun as well:

One night El put Soph to bed and fell asleep with her. I had to capture the sweet moment:

Mom and Me American Girl Race

Last week Soph had the American Girl run. She's been doing it for the past three years and loves it. It's super fun, you bring your American Girl doll and it's all girls.

 They had booths with games:

After the race we went to get lunch and Soph requested a milk shake:
