It's a.....GIRL

I'm a little late updating, however, last Monday on Valentine's Day we went for a 3D/4D ultrasound. It was amazing. For the first 20 minutes or so we were able to watch our precious baby do flips, wave and jump around. Then, after awhile the tech said..."it's a girl!" We were both soo excited. We were also able to hear the heartbeat again which we love. We actually bought a Build-a-Bear and they recorded our baby girl's heartbeat and put it in the bear so whenever you press the bear you can hear her heartbeat.
The first picture shows her curled up and the second picture she's giving a "thumbs up"

It was the best Valentine's Day ever!!

I'm 15.5 weeks today and it's my birthday. I told Elliott I already had what I wanted for my birthday and thats good health, him, great family and friends and the most precious gift of all...our baby girl growing inside of me. I couldnt have asked for a better birthday. Here's a belly shot at 15 weeks

First Trimester

So my first trimester wasn't too bad. I felt nauseous usually every day from 7:30 a.m.until around 11:30 a.m. then again at night from 7:30 p.m. until I went to bed. I was also very tired and usually fell asleep in the evenings for an hour or two before Elliott would get home from work. Here's what my stomach looked like at 4 weeks:

We had our 6 week apt on December 20 and I was lucky enough to get an ultrasound. It was amazing to see our little baby (even though it looked like a blob).

6 week stomach pics:

We celebrated Christmas with both of our families this year and told everyone that I was 7 weeks pregnant. Everyone was super excited for us.

7 week stomach pics:

At 9 weeks I felt really sick. Any smells would make me want to get sick and most foods seemed gross to me, especially some of my favorite foods. El has been getting up every morning and making me a bagel and chocolate milk so that has helped alot.

9 week stomach pics:

I had my first trimester screening on Friday, Jan 28th. They did an ultrasound which was amazing, we could actually see the baby and his/her arms and legs. The baby was very active jumping around, playing peek-a-boo etc. It was amazing. We also heard the heartbeat (158) for the first time.

The last week of my first trimester was good. I met with the new practice and got to hear the heartbeat again (155) which made me very happy. I'm also starting to get a baby bump, however, El thinks I'm sticking out my stomach lol.

Here's acouple pictures at 13 weeks

Exciting News

Sooo....I haven't updated in awhile but I'm pregnant. I'm actually 14 weeks today. We found out the weekend of Addie's first birthday party. On Friday, December 3 I started to not feel well. My parents were in town for Addie's birthday party so my mom told me to take some pepto, after taking that again on Saturday and still not feeling well I thought I was getting the flu. Finally, on Sunday I went to the grocery (my typical Sunday plans) and bought a pregnancy test because I was two days late. I thought I was late because I hadn't felt well, however, I thought I'd take one just in case, plus I normally take one every month anyways lol. So, I got home and El was sleeping on the couch. I didn't even tell him I bought one. I took the test and to my suprise it was POSITIVE! I started to cry and ran out and woke Elliott up holding the stick. He thought I was crying because it was negative again, however, I pointed to the "+" and he couldn't believe it. We were both sooo excited. I called my mom who was at my sisters getting ready to leave, I told her she left some makeup at my house and I'd be over to give it to her. She said they were out the door and she'd get it later, I was disappointed because I really wanted to tell them. So Elliott and I got ready and went straight to Misty and Ricky's to tell them the good news. I took a picture of the positive tests, yes, I said tests because I went and bought acouple more to be sure and when we got to their house I told them I had a picture of Addie from her party that they had to see. I pulled up the picture of the positive tests and showed Misty and she started crying and we told them we were pregnant. They were both super excited for us. :)

It was hard not telling my parents that week but I really wanted to tell them to their face. We found out we had a viewing to attend on Thursday, December 9 (4 days after we found out) so we'd be going home. Misty drove home with Elliott and I. We went to the viewing with my parents then to dinner. It was killing me with excitement to tell them. Finally, after we got our drinks I pulled a bag out of my purse and told them we had an early Christmas gift for them. My mom opened it and it was a grandparents frame with a picture of the positive tests inside of it. It took her a few minutes to get it but then her and my dad were both super excited.

Then, on Saturday December 11 we went to Lebanon to visit El's parents. We told them we were going to the outlet malls to shop and would stop in to see them. Once again, I had wrapped a grandparents frame with the positive tests inside of it. Elliott could barely wait to tell them so he got the gift and told them we had an early Christmas gift for them. Sharon told us she had an early gift for us as well and made us open ours first. We opened the gift then gave them theirs. Sharon read all the sayings around the frame, then said "Yah now
you just need to fill it" we looked at her funny, then she realized the picture was of positive pregnancy tests and she screamed. Her and Jim were both super excited.
