22 weeks and our first trip to the hospital...

So this past week was an interesting one to say the least. I'm now 22 weeks and feeling pretty huge.

Here's a picture of me at 21 weeks:

And here I am this past weekend at 22 weeks:

So our long weekend started off badly. Thursday, after lunch I started feeling terrible pains in my stomach, so after about 30 mins of pain, I went to the bathroom. While in the bathroom (the handicap stall) I started to sweat and felt light headed. The pain was getting worse. At one point, I had to hold onto the railing because I thought I was going to pass out. I decided to walk back to my cube to get some water. I sat down and still didn't feel well. I asked my coworker to call my doctor and tell them about the pains in my stomach. The doctor told her that I needed to go straight to the ER. My coworkers wanted to call the squad, they said I was super white and didn't look good. I refused to let them call the squad. Instead, I agreed to let them take me to the hospital. My coworker drove me to the ER, once we got there, they took me to labor and delivery. I was really scared not knowing what was going on and if Sophia was ok. Elliott was on his way and when he got to the hospital they told him I was in labor and delivery, so he freaked out. After having the nurses ask me several questions, they pushed on my stomach which didn't feel the greatest. They kept saying it was probably ligament pains, I knew it wasn't just ligament pains. They checked Sophia's heartbeat and it was fine (137), they also checked my cervix and I wasn't dilated. We were happy that everything with the baby was ok, however, we were curious as to what was wrong with me. Finally, after some time the pain stopped and the doctor confirmed it was kidney stones. I was in so much pain because I was passing the kidney stones. Since I had kidney stones before, back in college, and with me being prego, I have a greater chance of getting kidney stones. I asked them if there is anything I can do to prevent them, and they told me to drink alot of water. For anyone who knows me, they know that I already drink a ton of water. The bad part is that I have a greater chance of getting them again during this pregnancy. :( Although it was painful, I was just greatful that Sophia was ok.

On Friday, we woke up and drove to Michigan for a wedding. We had a great time. Here's some pictures we took in the photo booth:
