Easter Egg Hunt

On Saturday we took Soph to an Easter egg hunt with the Beaty's at one of the high schools. She had soo much fun!!

Boonshoft Museum

Today I was off at Noon so El and I took Soph to the Boonshoft Museum in Dayton. El used to go to Boonshoft when he was a kid, actually, he went all the time as a kid. He did archeology digs, summer camps, took classes and volunteered when he got older. This used to be one of El's favorite places so he's been soo excited to take Soph. With our Cosi membership we got in for $6 bucks each and Soph was free. The $12 bucks was SOO worth it. It was soo much fun...and soo different than what El remembers. When he was younger it was more about artifacts instead of hands on activities. Boonshoft was like Cosi but I think it had more hands on stuff for Soph's age.  

 

Soph had a blast and ran from one activity to the next.

 Lego's were a big hit for Soph. She actually screamed when we told her we had to go to the next activity.

 She loved the owl and kept yelling "who, who!"

Circus Fun

We took Soph to the circus on Sunday and she had alot of fun.

Soph did really well at the circus and we made it to the first intermission.

Air Force Museum

Our sitter is on vacation (starting last Thursday) through the end of this week so El took Soph to the National Air Force Museum in Dayton on Thursday. Soph loves planes so he thought she'd have fun...and he was right. And, he even took pictures for me!! :)

 El thought the name of this plane was so funny so he had to take a pic of Soph in front of it.

 I'm not sure what she liked more....hanging on the bars....or checking stuff out lol:

 She loved sitting in the planes....and didn't want to get out.

They both had alot of fun so I'm sure there will be more trips in the future.
