Movie in the Park

Last Saturday night, North Orange Park in Lewis Center had a "Movie in the Park" which showed The Lorax. We decided to take Soph but weren't sure how she'd do since the movie didn't start until past her bedtime. To our surprise, we stayed until almost the end. Before the movie they had a jump house, music, face paining and food set up. Soph had a lot of fun.

Alum Creek Beach

Last Saturday we took Soph to Alum Creek Beach which is literally less than 5 minutes from our house. We're soo bummed we haven't gone there all summer. Sophia loved it. She had so much fun playing in the sand, swimming, watching the boats and playing on the play ground.

 They had food trucks set up so we took her to the ice cream truck (her first time ever getting ice cream from an ice cream truck). She couldn't decide....so we helped her pick one.

 She loved it!

We will def go back next Summer. Hopefully we'll have a boat, too.

Sophia's First Dentist Appt.

Six months ago Soph went to the dentist with me to get her comfortable with being at the dentist office and so she could see me get my teeth cleaned. We decided after my appt. that we'd take Soph to our dentist opposed to a pediatric dentist. We just love our dentist who is actually my OBGYN's husband. Before we went on Saturday, we prepped Soph all week by telling her we need to count her teeth, say "ahhh" and open real wide, etc. It all paid off. Since Soph and I had back-to-back appointments the assistant recommended Soph going first. Soph hopped into the chair like a pro. She was soo excited.

Soph did great. She even got to pick out two prizes, a tooth brush (she picked out a Jake The Pirate), tooth paste and floss. Carrying her bag of stuff to the car:

Mara Wedding/Clearwater, FL

Two weeks ago, Elliott and I flew to Clearwater, FL for our friends, Heather and Zac's wedding. We had soo much fun.

 We had soo much fun before, during and after the wedding and reception...so much fun...I don't remember some of it hahah.

 While in FL, we were able to meet up with El's cousins and her finance for dinner. We had so much fun with them and can't wait to see them again in January.
