I realized I haven't updated the blog in awhile so I added a bunch of random photos below from the past two weeks. What have we been up to? A little bit of this and that.
Soph loves crafts so we've been doing some new Fall themed crafts. She loves glue. I tried to get a photo w/o showing her panties....however, that clearly didn't happen. Next time, I'll add leggings to her outfit. :)
On Friday my parents came to town and stayed with us before heading to Disney on Saturday with the Beaty's. They wanted to spend some time with Soph so we went to the Zoo.
Soph being Poppy's tour guide through the kangaroo exhibit:
Poppy showing Soph the animals:
She threw a HUGE fit after taking this photo. She was on the ground kicking and fighting. Oh boy...love the terrible two's.
Leaving the Zoo on Poppy's shoulders:
Then on Saturday we went to Cinci to get our family pictures taken by Wende Penny Photography. Wende has been taking our photos since Soph was acouple months old. She's a family friend and neighbor to Jim and Sharon. We went to Sharon Woods and got some Fall family pictures. We've already seen them (she's super fast) and LOVE LOVE LOVE them! I cannot wait to share them all. After our photo shoot we spent the night at Jim and Sharon's.
Soph loves books:
Playing with Uncle Brian:
After we went to dinner for Travis's birthday with the fam, we gave Soph a bath and turned on the jets. Soph loved it.
How sweet is this picture? Soph just loves being read to:
Checking Grandpa Jim's ears:
Then, on Sunday we got up early and drove home. Maya jumped on Soph's lap on the drive home:
I was playing with Soph's hair yesterday and realized it's long enough for a side French braid. I'm not sure if i'll let her leave the house with one since it looks funny but I was excited that her hair is at least getting long enough to do other things with it.
Last Saturday our friends Zac and Heather had people over to watch the OSU game. Their niece and nephew were there and Soph had soo much fun playing with them. She especially loved chasing after Grant and she said she "loved baby Claire" which makes me believe she'd be a great big sister (hint hint, Elliott).
On the carousel at the Zoo:
Two weeks ago we went to Lowe's to get supplies for our basement and Soph had a melt down....she was kicking and fighting and crying on the dirty floor.
Prior to Lowe's I gave her something that came in the mail for her....the "Disney Your Story" which talks about our trip to Disney in January. Soph didn't seem too excited lol!
As for potty training, Soph has been doing great. She's had VERY few accidents and she especially does well with going #2 on the potty chair. We're still doing a pull up for nap and bedtime but the rest of the day she is in big girl panties.
