Sophia's First Haircut

After a lot of thought and advice from my hair stylist, we finally took Soph to get her first haircut. Soph's hair isn't growing very fast and she has really fine hair so my hair stylist suggested getting her hair trimmed since its still her baby hair and said it would make her hair grow faster and thicker. So, I made Soph an appointment at Sweet and Sassy. Soph was excited all day to FINALLY get her hair cut. She thinks her hair is really long. We just go with it. :)

The stylist let her pick what color of "cape" she wanted to wear and she said "pink because that's my favorite color."
 This is the before picture:
Soph told the girl she wanted glitter in her hair.
After getting her hair cut they let her pick a sucker and then a flower for her hair. Then, she got to walk on the runway while they took her picture.
 Striking a pose:
While she was getting her hair cut the lady asked her if she has any brothers or sisters and without thinking, Soph responded "Yes, I have a brother." LOL! We had to remind her that she doesn't have a brother. Wishful thinking!

She did great and loved every second of it. When it was time to leave she said she wanted to stay there.

Weekend Wrap Up

We had a great weekend. My parents came on Friday, we grilled out and had a low key evening. Then, on Saturday we got up early, went to Sophia's baseball game, ran errands, went to Addie's soccer game, then, El and I went tailgating while my parents and Misty and Ricky watched Soph for us.

My parents with Soph after her baseball game. She was soo excited to have them at the game cheering her on:
I only took two photos while tailgating. Heather and I at our friends tailgate:
We had to park really far away and El only had acouple hours to tailgate so he said we'd ride in the back of a bike. It was pricey but worth the ride. Here's El and I on the bike (I clearly need a new phone):
This is a picture from last week - it was sunny and I didn't have any of Soph's sunglasses in the car so she wanted to wear mine:
Soph had her team pictures two weeks ago. We'll get the actual pictures soon but here's a picture I took:
Soph and Jax have soo much fun together. Here they're playing with Poppy at Addie's soccer game:

We had a great weekend. A BIG thank you to my sister and mom for driving to campus to pick me up and also for watching Soph over night so El and I could tailgate. Soph had a blast having a sleepover with her cousins and spending time with her Auntie, Uncle Ricky, Poppy and Nana.

Cosi and American Girl

Last week on El's day off he took Soph to Cosi. Then, he met up with Aunt Linds and Makenzie at Easton and Aunt Linds got Soph her first American Girl doll. Soph had such a fun day and was so happy to see Aunt Linds and Makenzie.

The Orchard Co - OSU 4 Miler

Saturday, after Soph's t-ball game I took her to The Orchard Company in Plain City. She had a lot of fun. She went on the zip line:

 Jumped on the giant pillow:
Went down the slide several times:
 Picked an apple:
She wanted her picture with the pumpkins:

 Played in the corn:

Then, on Sunday, I had the OSU 4 Mile Run. It was a lot of fun.

Since El worked the night before, Misty offered to watch Soph for us. She took them to the park and got ice cream. Soph had a lot of fun playing with Addie and Jaxon.

I can't remember when I took this picture of Soph and El but one day this past week Soph and El weren't feeling well. They both fell asleep on the couch around 7:30 p.m.

Cousins, Boonshoft Museum of Discovery and Costco

This is a random post of some things we've done this past week. Last Tuesday I had Ricky and the kids over for dinner as Misty was traveling for work. After dinner I gave all three kiddos a bath together. They had so much fun.
On Wednesday, El took Soph to Boonshoft for the day. She loves going there. After Boonshoft they visited Grandma Billie.

Grandma Sharon met El and Soph at Boonshoft:

On Friday, I picked Soph up from school and asked her what she wanted to do. She said "Costco!" Lol. This girl loves going to Costco for the samples. She insisted on wearing her sunglasses while we shopped:
I think she has over 10 samples in the cart:

T-ball & Sunday Funday

We had so much fun today. First, I ran 7 miles, then Soph and I went to church. After church we picked up Addie and went to  lunch.

Soph and Addie at lunch:
Yesterday Soph won the sportsmanship award at t-ball. She was soo excited:

Yesterday we went to the Beaty's for a cookout. Olivia was in town and in her OSU gear so we had to get a cousins picture. Sadly, Jax didn't want in it lol.
To continue our Sunday Funday, after lunch with Addie and Soph we had their friend, Ella's fifth birthday party. It was a horse theme and was super cute.

All the girls at the party:
They had horse races using the horses they all decorated:

They also had face painting. Addie loved hers:
 Soph loved her cute rainbow:
