Eli is 1 month old

Where does the time go? Eli is already 1 month old. :( Makes me soo sad!! I wish I could push the pause button.

Here's Eli's 1 month pictures:

We had Eli's one month appt. Here's his stats:

Birth weight: 9 pounds
Weight when we left the hospital: 8 pounds 10 ozs
First week appointment: 8 pounds 12 ozs
One month appointment: 11 pounds 3 ozs (82nd percentile)
                                          21.75 inches long (69th percentile)
                                          head circumference 15.5 (98th percentile)

Soph was 11 pounds 8 ozs at her one month appointment which is crazy because she was only over 7 pounds at birth.

Clothes: He's wearing some 0-3 month clothes but mostly 3 months and some 3 months are getting a little snug.

Food: He's eating 3-4 ozs every 3 hours. He's getting breast milk 100% of the time and nursing is getting a lot better.

Sleep: He's not sleeping through the night but only getting up every 3 hours to eat. He sleeps a lot in the morning and takes a long evening nap as well.

Activities: We try tummy and mat time almost every day and try taking daily walks.

Likes: He likes his swing, baths, car rides and his big sister.

Dislikes: When we stop at red lights when on car rides.

We just love him to pieces and hope that time will SLOW down. We're trying to enjoy every moment!

Cosi

Last Thursday, on Soph's day off from school, she had a daddy/Sophie day. She was so excited to spend some 1:1 time with El. She wanted to go to Cosi. They had a blast.

Playing a game of checkers:
 The loves the space exhibit:

Then, they went and had lunch together. I'm so glad they were able to get away and spend some 1:1 time together.

Eli is 4 weeks old

Eli is already 4 weeks old. He's getting soo big. He's also losing his hair - poor thing. Here's his 4 week pictures (he totally wasn't feeling it haha):

He loves to eat (4 ozs every 3 hours). He also loves his big sister:
 And she loves him:
He also loves his cousin Annie:

He's super cool just like his Uncle Ricky:
I took this picture when he was sleeping in the middle of the night - he was too cute but the flash from my phone woke him up so he has his eyes kind of open lol:
He's been making a lot of different faces:
My FAVORITE (having him sleep on my chest - and sometimes I sleep, too haha):
 Big sister playing with him:

Inniswood Metro Gardens

Last week we took the kiddos to the Inniswood Metro Gardens for the first time. It was the perfect night to explore (it was around 70 degrees and there was a nice breeze).
Eli was actually awake for some of the walk:

It was such a cool place.

Eli is 3 weeks old

I can't believe Eli is already 3 weeks old. Time is literally going WAY too fast. He loves to sleep, eat, his swing, being held and taking bubble baths. He's getting more used to tummy time but still isn't a huge fan.

Our big, 3 week old baby boy:

And here's Soph at 3 weeks:

He loves sleeping with his hands up like this:
And his favorite way to sleep is on my chest (and its my favorite too):
I took him shopping with his BFF, Annie but they both slept lol:
 More sleeping on my chest:
Big sis reading him a book:
 Always posing:
 Taking a nap with daddy:
 How sweet is he?

Mommy/Sophie day at the pool

On Saturday, Soph and I went to the Beaty's pool. It was nice spending time just her and I. She LOVES going swimming.

Fun day with my favorite girl!

Last day at Norris Lake

We woke up on Tuesday and were pretty lazy before we got on the road to head back home. Soph and Eli in their jammies in bed:
Eli and daddy taking a nap:
Soph wanted to jump in too:
 Relaxing in the hammock:

Soph wanted to go to the pool for a quick swim:
 Eli holding his own bottle:
The ride home was much better than the ride there. We had a great time!
