More soccer...

Soph's Fall soccer includes Tuesday evening practices and Saturday games. This has been keeping us busy in between swim lessons, birthday parties and the day to day things.

Eli enjoys watching his big sis, and drinking all her water:

Soph has really impressed us week after week. She LOVES soccer just like her daddy:

When Eli gets bored....he finds something to do:

 He also loves soccer:
One practice Soph said "Eli come sit next to me." So he promptly ran over and sat next to her. He loved being with the big girls.

Eli's second surgery

On Monday, September 12, Eli had his second surgery to remove the nevus sebaceous on his forehead. We were hoping after the first surgery that he'd only need one more, however, he'll still need a third. His surgery went well and everything went as expected.

Eli was so happy before his surgery:
And was in to everything lol:
A close up of his nevus sebaceous before his second surgery:
Nationwide is WONDERFUL. They have so many things for the kids to do before their surgery:

They also give every child a toy - Eli got a dog stuffed animal:
 He loved it.
 Just running around everywhere:

His post opp was SOO different than his first surgery. His first surgery he was VERY tired when we were able to see him. He was being rocked by a nurse (which I was soo thankful for the wonderful nurses). This time, we went back and he was awake and after a few minutes of me holding him, he wanted down to run around. He wasn't allowed which upset him. When we left, the nurses said he'd fall asleep on the ride home...he didn't. He was ready to go home and eat. Here he's eating as soon as we got home:
Monday night Eli started to sound congested. He woke up the next morning with a fever. I took him to his pediatrician and his lungs looked ok, his incision, was ok. Then, on Friday he wasn't any better. I took him back, they said he either had croup or pneumonia. So then I had to take him for x-rays. Luckily they came back clear so it was croup. Poor thing!

Despite having surgery, being sick all week and having croup, he was still in good spirits! My little man is one tough cookie!

Random...

Some more random pictures from the past few weeks.

Eli loves bananas:
 The kiddos playing with chalk:

Eli loves pushing around Soph's baby stroller. He event puts a baby in it.
Eli's favorite food is spaghetti. He also loves bread (hence the piece on his plate).

This pic is hilarious of Jax, Eli and Soph:

After working way too many hours the past two months and being gone for four nights last week. I took Friday off. I asked Soph what we should do and she wanted to go to the zoo. So, we went to the zoo with the Beaty's.

How funny is this pic of Annie and Eli:
 Snack time:

 Soph and Jax:

Last night El was mowing the grass and Soph decided she needed a trailer - so this is what Elliott created for her. SHe was thrilled:
 Eli was happy swinging:

Let's go Bengals...

Both kiddos were ready to watch the Bengals win on the first game of the season:

Then Soph decided to dress Eli up:

Run Like a Girl Race

A few weeks ago Soph and I had the "Run Like a Girl" race. Soph did the kids run and I did a 10k.

Soph and Eli ready to go (at 6:30 a.m.):

Soph and I before the races:

 Showing off her number:
 Soph was ready:

After the race showing off her new medal:
After my 10k showing off both of our medals:
Afterwards we got snacks including cookies. Eli loved it and had cookie everywhere:

I love that Soph enjoys races as much as I do.
