Since Jay recently had his surgery we didn't go to Mason for the holidays. Jay can't risk getting sick so although we were bummed to not see everyone, we knew it was for the best. So, Sharon came to our house one Friday before Christmas. The kids were excited to see her. We had lunch and exchanged gifts. After Eli opened one gift, I was under the tree looking for Sharon's gifts and Eli pulled on his stocking and the stocking holder fell on him and hit his head - right on his scar from his surgery. After freaking out and calling his pediatrician and his plastic surgeon we determined he didn't need stitches, put a butterfly band aid on it and went on. Poor kid!
Eli liked opening presents but Sophia mostly unwrapped his for him: 
I didn't get many pictures because I was on and off the phone with the nurses and doctors and was sending pictures to them.
Aunt Linds got Eli a new Range Rover and he loved it:
