Newport Aquarium

Last Friday we took the kids to the Newport Aquarium in Cincinnati. We had a lot of fun. Soph was SUPER excited to see the mermaids:

One of the workers cleaning the tank:
El teaching Soph about some fish:
 She loved touching everything:

 This is SOO her element:

Just like her daddy...she can name off a lot of animals.

OMG how cute are Soph and Eli:

Buddy slept in the beginning, then he woke up, I fed him and he had a BLOW out...I'm talking poop on my leg kind of blow out. So, he's in his back up outfit.
He LOVED looking at all the fish.
 Soph LOVED the mermaids:

The kids got their pic with a REAL mermaid lol. Soph was thrilled but asked how she got on the chair if she has a mermaid tail lol.
 My happy baby boy:
El and Soph walked over the shark tank:

 Downtown Cinci:

Such a fun day!

Play date and drill team

Last week Misty and I took Jax and Soph to GymXtreme for a play date. The kids had so much fun.

Walking into the gym area:
Of course they went straight to the cheese pit:

They wanted to hold hands jumping in...but then bumped heads so they didn't try that again lol.

Saturday night we went to the Powell bonfire to watch Addie's drill team perform. She did such a great job!

Soph cheering for Addie:
Soph made a new friend and was dancing with her:
 How cute is Addie??
 Addie and her biggest fans:
Buddy slept through most of it but then woke up when it was time to leave.

Eli is 10 weeks old

I'm STILL catching up on my blog posts. Eli is 10 weeks old. I bought him this Tigger outfit before he was born so I put it on him last week and wouldn't you know the hat is too small. :( Oh well! I took acouple pictures of him in it.

How cute is Eli? I had him in his dress shirt and dress pants but his pants were too big so he had to wear jeans to his cousin Kaitlin's baby shower. He was soo good there.
He loves when big sis, Soph reads to him.
When I have to get things done around the house, Eli chills in his swing. He loves it.
Working on tummy time. Not his favorite...unless I turn on the TV...then he lifts his head.

Oh how I love his smile:

And when he raises his one eye brow lol:
He loves this soft animal from his Auntie:
 Matching jammies:
And he's getting TOO big for his swing. LOL!

Love when he naps with Elliott...so sweet!
El was working on school work and Eli and Maya wanted to be right by him.
Love naps with my baby:
 He's soo happy:

He's really liking mat time. Look how high he kicks his legs.

Eli is 2 months old

Eli is already 2 months old. Time is flying by! He's getting SOO big! Oh my goodness! Although he seems huge to me he doesn't eat a ton. He's eating 4-5 ozs every 3-4 hours but has been going longer stretches at night.
He's seriously soo sweet and has been smiling and laughing even more. I just love this little boy. Here's his two month pictures:

Of course I want a comparison picture (I don't think Eli and Soph look alike):

His cheeks and legs are starting to get bigger lol:

I had to put Eli in this outfit. This was Elliott's when he was a baby.

We had Eli's two month appointment acouple days after he turned two months. He had to get shots but did great. His pediatrician asked how he's holding his neck up so he put him on his stomach and Eli put his head right up....his pediatrician said he was showing off lol!

 Here's his stats:

Birth weight: 9 pounds
Weight when we left the hospital: 8 pounds 10 ozs
First week appointment: 8 pounds 12 ozs
One month appointment: 11 pounds 3 ozs (82nd percentile)
                                          21.75 inches long (69th percentile)
                                          head circumference 15.5 (98th percentile)
Two month appointment: 13 pounds 7 ozs (80th percentile)
                                          24 inches long (90th percentile)

Soph was 13 pounds 12.5 ozs at her two month appointment.

Clothes: He's wearing 3 months, 3-6 months and 6 months.

Food: He's eating 3-4 ozs every 3-4 hours. He's getting breast milk 100% of the time and nursing is getting a lot better.

Sleep: He's starting to go longer at night. He'll go to sleep around 8 or 9 p.m. and wake up around 1 a.m. to eat and then again around 4 or 5 a.m. and then at 8:00 a.m.

Activities: He's still not a huge fan of tummy time but does it, he's on his mat daily and loves taking walks. He also likes doing little exercises.

Likes: He likes his swing, baths and watching his big sister.

Dislikes: He hates riding in the car now. He will cry and cry. Poor thing!
