Disney on Ice

On Wednesday Soph and I had a Mommy/Sophie day! First we went to dinner:

Then we went to Nationwide Arena for Disney on Ice, Of course Soph wanted her pic in front of the Blue Jackets player:
I told her she could get one thing - she picked cotton candy:

 We had so much fun!

I loved spending 1:1 time with my girl!!

Girls day/night

Last weekend my parents kept the kiddos for us all weekend. Friday night Elliott and I had a great date night. We shopped for our upcoming cruise, then we went to dinner and had drinks. Saturday night I had a planned girls day/night with my girlfriends. I was SOO looking forward to this day and night. We started off with lunch at an amazing little Mexican restaurant:

Then we went to get blow outs. After that we went back to the hotel and had a pumping party for some of us who are nursing. It was pretty funny and we talked about how our lifes have changed lol.

Then we went to dinner and went from bar to bar downtown.
I think there were 12 of us and we had a blast. I only took acouple pictures. We decided we need to do this more often.
Sadly I only got one picture of my dad and Eli while they watched them. A BIG thank you to my parents for watching the kiddos all weekend for us.

Zoo day with Daddy

Two weeks ago and this past week Elliott took the kiddos to the Zoo. They mainly stayed in the indoor areas but had a great time.

Soph loves the zoo:

Eli liked watching all the fish

Eli is 6 months old

Wow! Where has the time gone? I cannot believe Eli is already HALF of a year old. Makes me SUPER sad!! My baby is growing up.

I mean seriously? How cute is this boy??
Big sis likes to help me take his monthly pictures and of course get in acouple:
He was more interested in the block this month:

and here's Sophia at 6 months:

Then he took off his monthly sticker and started to eat it:
And then he was over the photo shoot:
Eli had his 6 month well visit and did great. He's sitting up:
 And loving life:
He puts EVERYTHING in his mouth:

Here's his stats:
Birth weight: 9 pounds
First week appointment: 8 pounds 12 ozs
One month appointment: 11 pounds 3 ozs (82nd percentile)
                                          21.75 inches long (69th percentile)

Two month appointment: 13 pounds 7 ozs (80th percentile)
                                          24 inches long (90th percentile)

Three months (this is from our scale): 15 pounds 5 ozs

Four month appointment: 15 pounds 21 ozs
                                             25 inches long
                                             HC: 44 cm
Five month (no appointment) 18 pounds (by our scale)

Six month: 17 pounds 10 ozs (he was in the 50th percentile)
26.25 inches long (30 something percentile)

Clothes: He's wearing some 9 months and some 12 months and size 4 diapers.

Food: He's eating 5 ozs every 4-5 times a day and he eats cereal with fruit for breakfast, baby food for lunch and fruit and veggies at night for dinner. He's still nursing and I'm still pumping when I'm working. He has tried a lot of new food over the past month including refried beans, fresh fruits, fresh veggies, etc. We try to feed him whatever we're eating. He loved spaghetti. We haven't found anything that he doesn't like...yet!

Sleep: He's still not a good sleeper. I'm hoping he'll start sleeping longer at night. We started the crying it out method so he'll hopefully start to soothe himself at night. He's now just waking up between 1-3 times at night. instead of going into his room, I let him cry it out. It is SOO hard for me to do this but I know it has to be done (and our pediatrician told me this at his appointment).

Talking: Eli said his FIRST word....drum roll......MAMA!! Of course! He's a mama's boy so its no surprise to me that Mama was his first word. I love it!

Teeth: still no teeth.

Activities: He still loves rolling around and will roll from one side of the room to the next. He likes his jumperoo, sitting up and playing and being around his big sister. He also loves bath time and sitting on the floor playing with toys.

Dislikes: He still hates being in the car but its getting better.
