I scream....you scream...we all scream for ice cream

Well after Saturday, Sophia was NOT screaming for ice cream lol!! We gave her acouple bites when we were at Graeter's and she really wasn't a fan. I don't think she liked it because it was too cold for her. We'll try again when she gets older. If she's anything like her daddy, she'll love it soon enough.

This week Sophia (like last week) has been exploring and getting into everything that isn't a toy. :) She's also standing on her own for acouple seconds without holding onto anything. She loves walking around while holding onto the furniture:
I made the mistake of leaving a cabinet open in the kitchen, turned my back for 2 seconds and Soph poured some cereal on the floor lol:

She loves looking out the windows:
And going through the paper with me on Sundays:

I bought some Piggy Paint (non toxic fingernail polish for babies) this weekend and gave Soph her first pedi:
LOVE my happy baby:
"Cheese!"

El came home from work and said "what happened downstairs?" I told him his 8 month old daughter is what happened lol. She loves getting all her toys out.

She loves drinking from a straw:

And getting into her car seat:
Soo precious:

Pierced ears

On Friday we finally broke down and got Sophia's ears pierced. Our pediatrician told us months ago that if we're planning on getting them pierced we should either do it at 6 months...or wait until she's 6 years old. It's taken us two months...but we finally did it and she did great. She cried for about 10 seconds and has been fine since. She looks super cute!!

The pics are backwards for some reason:

Dinner after getting her ears pierced:

 Such a big girl:
 Car ride home:

At Sweet & Sassy after getting her ears pierced. I highly recommend this place. Misty took Addie there to get hers done when she was a baby and its a super cute place. I cannot wait until Soph gets older and I can take her there. It's like a mini salon for little girls. They have a runway in the middle...girls can have their hair done, dress up etc.
 Soph and I:
The hardest part was making the marks on her ears:
Hahah she wanted out of there before it even started:

Stage 3 baby food

We started Sophia on stage 3 baby food and she loved it. We first started her on corn and broccoli.

Ready for corn and broccoli:
 A little unsure at first:

After a few bites she loved it. :)
Tonight we tried stage 3 spaghetti:
 LOVED it:
 Yay!!

Crawling and into everything...

Since Sophia started crawling she has been in everything. She loves exploring the house and playing with everything that isn't a toy. :)

Dishwasher:

Instead of sitting and playing the piano...she prefers to stand lol:
 Standing with one hand:
 She's always trying to stand:

She's doing great at swim lessons and likes them more each week.

Future coupon clipper (like her mama):
Her FAVORITE thing is to get into Maya's bowls.
And she's gotta have the remote:
Of course no day is complete w/o a little reading:
 Loves daddy's cards:
Did I mention she is into everything! :) I love watching her explore and get excited over the little things.
