Oh My Goff: Easter

Sophia had a great first Easter. We woke up, got ready for church, then gave Sophia her gifts, then headed to church. We took Sophia to the nursery because she's at the stage where she doesn't like to be held, instead she wants to be down and crawling or playing. She did really well in the nursery. The service was really good. We both enjoyed it. Our church is so different, I love it. I used to get bored at church, or I'd walk away not understanding what the pastor was talking about. Not at our church. We have a band, they usually do some sort of skit and the pastor talks about the bible but brings in real life situations so you understand it.

I remember when I was a little girl, one year for Easter my mom bought me the cutest outfit for church. I'll never forget it. I had a green matching top and skirt, white gloves, white fluffy socks, white shoes, a cute hat and of course a matching purse. Because of that, I HAD to get Sophia a cute hat. Maybe next year she'll be able to wear gloves and carry a purse. :)

I'm soo bummed we didn't get one single family photo. :( After church we went to Cinci to spend Easter with El's family.

It wouldn't be Easter without a bunny, right? Makenzie was nice enough to bring her bunny, Mr. Max. Sophia loved him.

She started out nice and was petting him, then she pulled his hair so we had to watch her.

Jim and Sharon have an Easter egg hunt every year. I realized when we were there, this is the first Easter we've spent with the Goff's since El and I have been together which is 10 years. With Elliott usually working holidays or us going to my parents, we've never gone to the Goff's.

El and his cousin Amanda are only acouple months apart. Amanda's baby boy Mason is just two months older than Sophia. Yesterday on Easter was the first time they ever met. They loved each other. Sophia has finally met her match. Usually she's always bigger than everyone around her. Not yesterday. Mason is 26 pounds. He's super cute and has the cutest head full of hair.
