The Florida Aquarium

Last Thursday we took Sophia to The Florida Aquarium. Since she loves fish (just like her daddy) we thought we'd check it out.

They had an outdoor area for kids. One area was a water park and the other area was toys and stuff. We didn't pack her bathing suit so we had to play with the non-water toys:

St. Petersburg

Last Wednesday we took Sophia to St. Petersburg. The tropical storm was heading our way so we had some on and off rain but we still had a great day.

The night before we went, Soph was looking out the doors at El who was grilling:

Every night after we put Soph to bed, Elliott and I would sit outside by the pool and enjoy acouple beers and the sunset.

 One night we played drinking games...and El lost so he had to get into the pool:

 The rain stopped for acouple mins so we got acouple pictures on the boardwalk:

 Then we drove to Treasure Island...and then the rain started up again so we went into acouple gift shops. Soph trying on a hat:

Then we met up with El's Uncle Earl, (Sharon's brother),  Aunt Cindy and his cousins Danielle and Brittany and Danielle's two sons for dinner. It was great to finally meet all of them.

Although it was a really long day driving to St. Petersburg, then Treasure Island, then back to St. Petersburg, then back to our house...it was super fun! :)

Walking?

Sophia has been taking 3-5 steps here and there but tonight she's been taking 8 - 10 steps at a time. Before she'd take 3-5 steps maybe once or twice a day...tonight she took 8-10 steps several times.

Clearwater Beach

Last Tuesday we decided to head to Clearwater Beach. It was a super nice beach...the water was clear and the sand was white!

El fed one bird so Soph could see the birds and of course they all came!!

Before we went to the beach we took Soph to the Clearwater Marine Aquarium. She loved looking at all the animals.

Then we took Soph to the Dolphin Tale Adventure Museum. We haven't seen the movie Dolphin Tale..featruing Winter the Dolphin but it was cool seeing pieces from the actual movie...and Winter was actually at the aquarium.

In the movie they had different games so that had some out for kids to play with. Soph of course went for the duckies:
