African Safari Wildlife Park

This morning we woke up and went to the African Safari Wildlife Park. El and I didn't know what to expect...but it was SOO fun! I have to admit, when the animals put their heads into the car...it was kind of scary but really cool to see them so close up.

Danielle, Me, Max and Soph on our way to the safari:

We had such a fun weekend!!

Sandusky/Great Wolf Lodge

Yesterday we drove to Sandusky to see our friends Kevin, Danielle, Max and their new baby boy, Lucas for the first time. We had soo much fun!!

Me, Soph and baby Lucas:

We went to lunch and the kids were more focused on the games:

Soph LOVED Max. I love that she has her arm around him while he's playing the car game:
Then we all got ready to go to Great Wolf Lodge. Max and Soph were ready to go:
 Having fun in the curtains:

 Kevin and Max:
Soph loved the water and jumped right in:
Soph and El ready to go climbing on the big stuff:

 Danielle, Max, El and Soph:
The puddlejumper (combination of arm floaters and a life vest) was perfect. She could float on her own and go into the deep end (with us right there with her). She loved it too.
Soph has red marks on her legs because she climbed this rope ramp several times. It hurt El and I's feet so I can only imagine how it hurt her...she didn't care though. She had no fear and would grab our hands and say "come on mommy" or "come on daddy" and led us to the ramp.
 Taking a snack break:
 Having fun with daddy:
Does she have her Nana's hair? Haha! Enjoying an apple:
After playing in the water park for several hours we thought Soph and Max would be exhausted. We got ready and went to check out the hotel and Soph got a second wind.
 Loving the bear:
They had story time before it was bed time and I wasn't sure how Soph would do...but she LOVED it. Soph and I (I'm in the front in the green shirt) waiting for story time to start:
Once the character, Wiley came out...she went nuts. She pushed her way to the front to get a better view and never stopped smiling.

Soph and El pretending to sleep:

Such a fun day with friends!!

Columbus Clipper's Game

Friday night we took Soph to a Columbus Clipper's game. We were hoping to get lawn seats to lay out a blanket and let her run around and play, however, it was standing room only. She still had a lot of fun. Her first baseball game was almost two years ago (where does the time go?) when she was just three weeks old we took her to a Dayton Dragon's game .

Walking into the stadium:

They had a bounce house so Soph had to jump right in:
 Jax with his bat:
 Misty and Jax playing baseball:
Soph had fun playing on this huge baseball mit:
I love this picture of Soph and Addie checking out the field:
And Soph and Jax doing the same thing:
 Daddy explaining baseball to Soph:

 Eating some peanuts:
Addie loved these cut outs haha:

We didn't stay the whole game because we didn't have seats and it was already past Soph's bedtime. She had so much fun with her cousins, Auntie and Uncle Ricky.
