4th of July

We went to our friends house on the 4th for a cookout. The kids had so much fun playing together.

 Then we all went to the Alum Creek beach to watch the fireworks. Soph and El walking around the beach before they started:

 Then it started to rain before the fireworks started. Misty, Jax and Addie are under the left towel and Ashley, Joe and Meeka (their dog) are under the towel in the right lol!

 Then Soph put her blanket over her head to be like the rest of the gang lol:

 We saw some of the fireworks as we walked to our cars in the rain. We'll def go back next year as its super close to our house and a cool place to watch the fireworks. They also had fun stuff for the kids to do, a beer tent and food tents. We didn't make it to that section but will next year.
