Build-A-Bear

For Christmas Soph received a Build-A-Bear gift card from her Uncle Brian and Aunt Tracy so we took her there this weekend to get a new animal. On the car ride she said she wanted a cat. After we got there she changed her mind. 

Naming her dog....she chose Casey (not sure where that name came from):

ABC's

Sophia's brain is a little sponge right now. She has been avoiding going to bed every night by requesting to sing several songs. How can I say no to that? Last Thursday we sang ABC's and she got acouple letters and the order confused, by Monday night, she could say the entire alphabet. 

Sounds of the Alphabet

Misty bought Soph a Leap Frog Letter Factory DVD which goes through every letter in the alphabet and says what the sound of each letter makes. Soph is OBSESSED with it. We have it in my car and she'll cry when she rides in Elliott's car because she wants "the letter song." Haha! We ended up getting her another version for his car. Some parents don't let their kids watch TV.....but after seeing Soph learn the sounds of every letter (she gets acouple confused) I'd say this is a great investment. Thanks, Misty!

Great Wolf Lodge

I seriously love this place. It's not only fun for kids...but also adults. After the kids went to bed, Misty, Dexter and I went back to the water park just 20 minutes before it closed and went down two slides. It was soo fun. Soph loves the water and has no fear.

 My dad just got back from Canada for work and surprised us after he was stuck in Chicago. He brought the kids these cute shirts:

 Soph's favorite thing to do was going down the slides. After getting there we saw El's cousin, wife and two kids. Soph having fun with her cousin Jilly:

Valentine's Day

This year's Valentine's Day was really fun. Now that Soph is in school, we made valentine's for her class. I saw on Pinterest this cute idea to take a picture of Soph in sunglasses and give everyone a pair of the sunglasses with a cute saying...so that's what we did for her Valentine's.

 For the teachers we got them hand sanitizer from Bath & Body Works and I made these Valentine's for them saying "Hands Down You're The Best Teacher Around" and traced Soph's hand print and cut it out and tied together with a bow (also found on Pinterest). You can also kinds of see the labels on each of the Valentine bags with Soph's picture and the saying. Can you tell I LOVED making these? Hah!

Disney on Ice - Princesses & Hero's

I would say Soph has had a great 2014 so far. After coming home from Disney we had tickets from Christmas to see Disney on Ice last Sunday. Sophia loved it. i just hope she doesnt think we'll see something Disney every week. :) We had tickets with the Beaty's and the kids had alot of fun together.

Last Day - Downtown Disney

We left on a Sunday so we woke up, took Soph to the pool/splash pad at our hotel, then we cleaned up and went to Downtown Disney.

We ate lunch at Rainforest Cafe and Soph loved it. It was a really cool restaurant.

We had soo much fun all week and cannot wait to go back. A big thanks to Jim, Sharon, Linds and Jay for going with us. Soph enjoyed spending time with everyone and has already asked me "can we go to Disney today?" Haha!
