My friend Heather asked me to run the Cap City 1/4 Marathon. I was excited to sign up for another run, but certainly didn't train for it like I did for the 1/2 marathon this past Fall. I think its really hard to train in the Winter and early Spring because of snow, cold weather and rain. Despite not really training, we made it to the finish line and had a lot of fun. Our friends Tiff and Lauren also ran the 1/4 so it was nice to have some friends with us. After the run, they had champaign, beer, bands playing and food. In addition, they had a kids area with a carousel , jump houses, music (including songs from Frozen), characters dressed up (Soph's favorite) to keep the kids entertained. It was a really fun morning.
