First Library Card

This morning I took Soph to the library. We've been there before, but today was a special day. She got her very own library card. I thought kids had to be a certain age before they could get a library card but that's not the case. Soph was SOO excited. After we signed up to get her card, she played with all the toys:

Then, I let her check out her own books. She loved scanning each one. When we got to the library I told her she could get five books, well, we ended up getting 10. There's soo many to choose from.

Things have really changed since I got my first library card and had to write my name on it and the librarians stamped a card in each book with the due date. :)

I'm excited to continue taking her to the library. She already had me read 7 out of the 10 books we checked out today so I'm guessing we'll be going back soon.
