Norris Lake

On Tuesday, September 1 we left Columbus and headed to Norris Lake for acouple days before we drove to FL for a week in Destin. We LOVED being off work together as a family so we could travel and do some fun things. We left that Tuesday early evening and got to Norris Lake pretty late. Both kids did pretty well in the car (its a 6 hour drive). Once we got to the house, we unpacked the car, I laid Eli on our bed and got some stuff together. Then, I looked at my precious baby boy and noticed the pillow behind him - it was PERFECT!

We had a great time. Soph was ready to hit up the pool:
But it was closed so we had to wait for it to open. So, she built a castle:
Then we headed to the pool (she didn't want her picture taken):
Pool time with my girl while El stayed at the house with Eli:
Soph wanted to take some selfies:

Later that night we went down to the lake:

I mean seriously....how sweet is he?
I LOVE this picture of Soph giving her baby brother kisses:
Soph and Grandma Sharon having fun...while El naps:
Uncle Jay flew his play to the lake so we went to the runway to watch him land:

Then we all went to dinner on the lake. Soph and Linds feeding the fish:
I had a drink and it was AMAZING:
I ran almost every day while we were in TN. Here's some of my view:

Soph loved playing with all the dogs:
 El and Eli napping:
 Oh Eli...how I love thee:

We took out the boat and had a great day. Soph and Eli at the front of the boat (you can see Soph's little hands up in the air like shes on a roller coaster haha):
El and Soph getting ready to tube:

She loved it until it stopped and their weight made the tube go in the water which made them go under. I was a nervous wreck until El could swim to get her. Yes, she had on her floaties, however, that didn't protect her from her head going under the water. Scary moment for this mama!
I had Eli in his carrier under the awning in the boat so he wouldn't get any sun:
Soph helping Aunt Linds drive the boat:
 Me and my babe:
 I think he liked boating:

Soph pushing Grandpa Jim into the water lol:
 Love this picture:

Soph loved Brackett:

We had a great time in TN. A big thank you to Linds and Jay for hosting us!
