Sophia's 4 year check up

We just had Soph’s four year check up acouple days ago with her new doctor. We decided to switch her so she's at the same practice as Eli. Since we moved over two years ago we've been taking her to the same pediatrician since she was born in Dublin.

Soph's new doctor said she’s doing great. He asked her several questions and she responded correctly to all of them. He said she's ready for kindergarten next year. We recently took her to an allergist about her eczema and they tested her to see if she has any allergies and she doesn't, which was good, so now we're trying to figure out how to help her eczema. Her pediatrician gave us acouple new tricks to try. After her doctor examined her, she had to get the flu mist...which was easy, then she got three shots. She was NOT a fan. Poor thing. The good news, is that, she won't need any shots (besides a yearly flu shot) again until she's 11. She's up to date and ready for kindergarten next year.

Here’s her stats:

1 year stats:
Head: 17.9” – 60th percentile
Height: 30.5” – 87th percentile (2 feet 5 inches)
Weight: 24.2 pounds – 88th percentile

2 year stats:
Head: 18.75” – 54th percentile
Height: 35.25” – 85th percentile (2 feet 9 inches)
Weight: 29 pounds – 78th percentile
3 year stats:
Height: 3’ 1.5 inches – 59th percentile
Weight: 33.8 pounds – 71st percentile

4 year stats:
Height: 40.75 inches (3 feet 3inches) - 68.9 percentile
Weight: 39 pounds - 78th percentile

I have said this every year and I’ll say it again, I cannot believe my baby girl is FOUR!! I get soo sad just thinking about her getting older!
This past year Soph has grown so much! She played t-ball last Fall, then started up dance in January. She loved both of them but especially liked her performance on stage for dance. She recently started pre-k at school and loves her teachers Miss Deana and Ms. Jennifer. This past year she has gone to Florida again where we went to Disney and then to a family wedding (back in October), we went to Norris Lake in TN twice and we recently went to Destin, FL. She also got a NEW BABY BROTHER! She does pretty well with him - actually better than we thought. She likes to help and get things for us, she plays with him, and tries to make him laugh. She does get jealous from time to time but when asked if someone can take her baby brother home with them, she gets mad and tells them "no!" Haha!

Clothes: She wears 5T and has acouple 6T shirts and bathing suits. She wears size 10 and 11 shoes.

Food: She loves chicken nuggets, granola bars and apple sauce and could seriously live on all of those three every day if I let her. We recently had to limit how many granola bars she can have each day because one day she had 5 without us knowing. She also loves chocolate ice cream and won't eat any other ice cream unless its chocolate.
Drinks: She still drinks a ton of water and also still loves milk.
Sleep: Her bedtime is between 8 - 8:30 p.m.  and she wakes up between 7 - 7:30 a.m.

Activities: She loves being outside, singing, playing on her ipad, dancing and riding her bike. She has quite the imagination and plays really well by herself.
She still impresses us with everything she can say…and still repeats everything she hears. She can count to 40 but misses acouple numbers and can count to 10 in Spanish. She can write her first and last name and can write almost all the letters in the alphabet. She can identify numbers 1-20.  She can type her first name on the computer. She knows my phone number and her complete address.  She loves saying a prayer before we eat dinner every night.
Dislikes: when its not her turn and sharing with others
Favorite books: She loves books so I’m not sure of her favorite. It changes daily.
Favorite TV shows: Paw Patrol, Sofia the First, Sheriff Callie's Wild West, Miles from Tomorrowland, 7D, Kate and Mim-Mim
Favorite movies: Any Veggie Tales, Alvin and the Chipmunks
