Our cruise

El decided acouple months ago that we needed to take a trip so he planned one for us and didn't tell me where we were going until a few weeks before we left. We've never been on a cruise so that's what we did. We had soo much fun but missed the kiddos like crazy!

 The first stop on the cruise was Grand Bahama Island in Freeport. It was a little chilly so we explored.

 We found a little bar that had free wifi. We had some drinks and called to check in on Eli (Soph was at school):

 Then we walked to the beach. It was really nice but a little too cold to get in.

 Then we went and had some lunch and margaritas:

 But stopped at Senor Frogs for some pictures:

 We cleaned up and went back to the casino:

 Then had dinner at the steak house, Cagney's:

 We had a great view of the water. I had to stop looking outside because I was getting nauseous.

 Then we got tickets for Deal or No Deal. It was super fun and we won $100.

 The next day we went to Nassau:

 It was pretty as well but too chilly to swim or even get into our suits.

 So we found the bar, Tiki Bikini Hut which El had heard great reviews on so we had some drinks:

 When we came back to our room we had some cute towel art:

 We got cleaned up and had dinner at the Italian restaurant.

 We had to switch seats because I couldn't keep looking at the water as we were moving.

 We went back to the casino then watched some shows at their nightly entertainment.

 The next morning I went for a run on the upper deck and saw this view:

 Our third and final stop was the cruise line's own Island. It was our favorite. El on the boat to the island.

We had soo much fun. It was nice getting away and unplugging for a few days. A big thank you to my parents for keeping Eli for us and to my sister for keeping Soph all week and taking her to and from school each day. I don't know what we'd do without you guys!! Both kids had a blast at your houses.
