Here's her stats from her appt.:
Height: 26.75 inches – 76th percentile
Weight: 18 pounds 6 ozs – 88th percentile
Head: 17 inches – 69th percentile
She actually lost weight since last month. Her pediatrician said it's normal because she's becoming more active.
Here's her weight since she's been born:
Birth - 7 pounds 8 ozs
one month - 11 pounds 8 ozs
two months - 13 pounds 5 ozs
three months - 14 pounds 5 ozs
four months - 16 pounds 6 ozs
five months - 19 pounds (this is by our scale)
six months - 18 pounds 6 ozs
Here's her 6 month photos:
Clothes: she's wearing 12 and 18 month clothes now. Some of the 18 month outfits are a tad bit too long or the sleeves are long, however, other brands fit her perfectly.
Food: She's still eating 6 -7 ozs every time she gets a bottle. Her typical day includes breakfast which consists of cereal with fruit, a late morning bottle, lunch which is either a fruit or veggie, 1 bottle in the afternoon, then for dinner she eats fruits and veggies, then one last bottle around 7:30 before bed. I'm thinking now that we're giving her lunch, we might be able to cut out one of the bottles during the day. We'll see how that goes. Like I said above we're trying mashed potatoes tonight for the first time and she's also getting the sippy cup of water.
Sleep: she's still a really good sleeper. She still goes to bed between 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. and usually sleeps through the night until 7:30 and 8 a.m. This past week she has woken up in the middle of the night and we think its because she was off schedule when we were in Gatlinburg. We're hoping to get her back on schedule. She still takes a morning nap and a good afternoon nap (2-3 hours) when she's at the sitters.
Activities: She loves playing with her toys and prefers to be on her tummy. She likes to put everything in her mouth and chew on it. She loves her Baby Einstein gym thing and will whip around in it really fast. When she's on the floor she can roll from one side of the room to the other. We have to start baby proofing the house. She loves her jenny jump up. She's also taking baths in the tub w/o her baby tub, sitting in grocery carts and high chairs at restaurants. She can sit up on her own really well now.
Talking: although I wish I could say she's saying mama or dadda she isn't just yet. She is saying "yah" which is really cute and also "gee." We aren't sure what "gee" is, however, Elliott thinks she's trying to say "doggy." Who knows. We continue to work with her and fingers crossed she'll say mama soon. :)
Likes: eating her hands and anything she can put in her mouth, her binki (which we hardly give to her), being on her tummy, baths, watching Maya, eating, looking at fish, grabbing her feet, pulling my hair, doing rasberries.
Dislikes: wearing socks, shoes or bibs (she'll pull them off), when we take her bottle away from her.
She still doesn't have any teeth. We thought one would have come down by now but we've been wrong. She has her appt. with the ENT tomorrow and we're hoping that'll go well.
This month has been soo much fun and I get excited for all the milestones coming up (first tooth, saying mama, crawling etc.).
