Sophia started crawling on Thursday. I of course cried lol!! She only did it for acouple steps...but then did it again yesterday for Elliott. She still prefers to roll, I think because she forgets she can crawl. I'm hoping to get a video of her doing it, for now, I only have pictures:

Date night...
Last Saturday night Elliott and I went on a much needed date night. Auntie and Uncle Ricky were soo nice and watched Sophia over night. We had a ton of fun and Sophia had just as much fun playing with her cousins Addie and Jax. A big thanks to Misty and Ricky for watching Sophia.
We actually went on a double date with Kush and Kevin. First, we went to dinner and then wine tasting. Then we met up with Heather, Zac, Tiff and Christine.
Here's some pictures:
Just like the old days...except according to Kush I now have a "mom hair cut" lol!
They hated me for taking this picture. I thought it was cute!

Although we had alot of fun, I missed Sophia and couldn't wait to pick her up Sunday morning. :)

Easter Bunny
So Elliott and I decided Sunday morning we'd take Sophia to see the Easter bunny. Elliott looked online and it said the bunny would be at the Tuttle Mall at 11:00. As everyone knows, there's always a long line so we decided we'd get to the mall a half hour early. So we got there around 10:40 and to our surprise nobody was in line yet. So we looked at the sign and it said the Easter bunny wouldn't be there until noon. We were ticked and were faced with the question - do we drive home, or stay for an hour and hope Sophia will be good w/o a morning nap. We decided to stay.
To keep Sophia entertained we first brought her to all the toys.
Soph wasn't sure at first:
She was kind of scared when it started moving:
Haha this is a new face:
We tried another one:
And she liked this one as well:
Sophia did really well until about 11:30. After we ate lunch we headed back to the area to get in line. Once again, nobody was in line lol. So we stood and as more and more people got in line behind us...Sophia started to get cranky. She had enough of the mall. Luckily we were the first ones in line so as soon as the Easter bunny walked up they told me to put her on his lap and within 2 seconds (I'm not kidding) the picture taking was over. I had three options, one where she wasn't even looking at the camera, the second where she looked like she was going to the bathroom and the last one she was smiling. :)
Next time we'll call before we show up hours early. :)

Super Games
Yesterday we went to Super Games for Savva's 5th birthday party. We had soo much fun. Super Games is a big warehouse with tons of inflatables. They even had smaller ones for Soph. I'm not sure who had more fun....Elliott & I or Sophia. :)
Soph posing on the little slide:
She LOVED going down the slide (and she never let go of Sophie)
"Look at me momma!"

Planks...
Sophia has been doing a new thing this past week....planks. Not sure where she learned it, maybe from watching me? It's funny to watch so I took a video. She finally does it towards the end of the video. :)

Spring is here...
We've been soo lucky to have such great weather this week. Usually on the first day of Spring its snowing or cold but this year we were able to spend our evening outside enjoying the weather. Sophia loves being outside and sometimes cries when its time to go in.
Since its been soo hot we had to turn on our air. For those of you that know Elliott and I you know we typically sweat for acouple months before turning it on. Oh how things change when you have a baby. :) The first day it was 80 in our house I broke down and turned the AC on. I couldn't have Soph sweating.
Sophia loves the vents with the cool air coming out:
Here's some more pictures from this week:
Now that she can sit up on her own she loves this toy:
She already loves to read. This is her favorite book (Sandra Boynton's Barnyard Dance):
Here's Soph on the first day of Spring:
We are soo thankful to have a swing set for Soph. A big thanks to Grandpa Jim and Grandma Sharon for putting it together. She's going to enjoy it for years to come.
Soph was grabbing toys out of this container when she decided to taste it lol:
I'm not sure how, but Sophia backed herself under her toy:

Fun weekend
We took full advantage of the wonderful weather this weekend. Yesterday was a jammed packed day. We started off at the St. Patty's Day parade, then we came home, put Soph down for a nap, then went to the Zoo, followed by a cookout at the Clarks. Then today Soph and I played outside on her swing set, then met Erin and Lilly at the park.
Here's some pics from the weekend:

Happy St. Patty's Day
Soph had acouple St. Patty's day outfits so she started celebrating on Friday. :) She really isn't Irish...not even "a wee bit" but she looks super cute in this shirt:
She was even happy wearing this headband her Nana bought her:
Then on Saturday (St. Patty's Day) we all dressed in our green and headed downtown for the parade. Before we went to the parade I snapped acouple pics of Sophia in her "lucky lady" shirt, new jean shorts and sandals:
Waiting for the parade to start:
Her favorite part of the parade:
Soph and daddy after the parade:
And of course she wore her "Mommy's lucky charm" jammies last night:
