Sophia's Surgery

On Friday Sophia had a frenotomy to fix her tongue tie. Everything went really well. She was such a brave little girl. The procedure was really fast. The worst part was recovering because Sophia woke up and was all confused. Plus there were other kids in recovering around her and they were all crying so I think she was scared. After we got her in the car, I settled her down and after a few minutes of Word World she was fine. :)

Here's Sophia bright and early on Friday morning (we had to be at the Ohio Surgery Center at 6:30 a.m.):

Here's Sophia before surgery:

Soph was fine like nothing even happened once we got home. She even started chewing on her letters:

And she was super happy to be in her jumpy:

Here's Soph with the temperature stickers still on her stomach:

She had to have an IV so thats why she has a little band-aid on her hand. Luckily she only had to get one stitch and it'll desolve.

We're soo happy everything went well. I was so nervous all week. I'm happy it's over. I hope and pray this will be Soph's first and last surgery.
