Yesterday was the BEST Mother's Day ever! I remember last Mother's Day....I was prego and soo excited to be a mom. After praying for two years I was prego and going to have a baby. This Mother's Day was soo different. Having a baby has been the best thing to ever happen to me. I couldn't have asked for a better Mother's Day. Not only did I get to spend the whole day with Sophia, I also got to spend the day with my mom, dad, sister, brother-in-law, niece and nephew. It would have been complete if El was off.
My mom is the best mom. After becoming a mom I've come to appreciate her even more. I feel like the older you get, the more you appreciate your parents. Since being in the delivery room with me, my mom and I have gotten even closer. She's not just my mom, she's my best friend and who I look up to and look to for advice. She's the hardest working woman I know and always has been. I've been told that I have great work ethic and I always credit my mom. So while Mother's Day was a great day for me, it was also a great day to thank my mom for everything she's done for me.
Yesterday we had a cookout at Misty and Rick's to celebrate Mother's Day as well as my dads birthday. No get together would be complete without some photos. :)
We decided to get a mom's photo with all our kids:
Take 2: Then my dad wanted in the picture lol, he said he wanted one with his kids and grandkids:
Addie is soo cute. She was sitting in her princess chair with her legs crossed like a little lady:
And Soph carried around Addie's brush all day. I think she liked it because it matched her outfit lol:
I'm soo thankful for my mom, and for God for giving me the most precious gift of all, Sophia.
