This past weekend we went to Norris Lake with the Goff side of the family. Soph had a bad case of diaper rash (we think from teething) early last week and it extended into our drive on Friday. A 6 hour drive turned into an 8 hour trip including 3 stops, 2 blow outs and 1 outfit change. Poor Soph! Despite having diaper rash and blow outs she was still a happy camper most of the drive!
Maya wasn't bad either. She preferred to sit on Elliott's lap:
Once we got there late Friday night, Soph was all smiles when Aunt Linds opened up the grocery cart she bought for Soph. She LOVED it:
They had a pool table in the lower level of the house, this little man statue that held the pool sticks was Soph's favorite. She would crack up at it, touch it and she tried to pull the cigar out of his mouth:

After the OSU football game, we got dressed in our suits and headed for the lake. Soph looking cute in her suit:
Then we were off. Actually, in this picture we were just waiting. Before the boat moved, I put Soph's life jacket on. Safety first. :)

After we docked the boat near other boats, we took Soph's life jacket off (because she HATED it) and she enjoyed playing on the floor of the boat. Everyone else got in the water, swam, jumped off the bridge etc. Soph was good with some water bottles and her puffs.
Then Aunt Linds wanted to cool Soph off because it was SUPER hot so she put her on the raft with her. Soph wasn't feeling it.

We had alot of fun spending time with family this weekend. :) Soph loved her first time being at Norris Lake and riding on a boat.
