Almost 15 months ..

Since I haven't done a monthly update for Soph since her one year, I thought I should probably do one now (I love doing these and looking back on them later).

She was 7 pounds 8 ozs at birth and now she is 24.2 pounds. :( My baby is no longer a baby!

Clothes: She can still fit in a FEW 18 month jammie's, and is mostly in 24 months with the exception of a few 2t outfits or jackets.

Food: She no longer takes a bottle. She has breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks between and a sippy cup of warm Vitamin D organic milk before bed. We try to give her whatever we're eating for meals and usually she'll try it. She's had fish, hamburgers, meatloaf, pasta and soo many other things I can't remember. She loves fruit..especially bananas and grapes, cheese, crackers which she calls cookies. She loves water and drinks that all day out of her sippy cup and will also have her organic milk in the morning.

Sleep: She’s still a great sleeper. She goes to bed between 7:30 and 8 and doesn’t get up until between 7 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. During the week she still takes 2 naps a day but on the weekends she usually takes 1 nap a day.

Activities: She really understands things. If we say "do you want to go outside?" she runs to the garage door. Or, do you want a snack...she runs to the pantry. Put your shoes and socks on...she goes and gets them and tries putting them on herself. She knows the difference between upstairs and downstairs and will run to either when you mention them. She knows night night means going upstairs and to her room. She knows bath time means going upstairs. She's really going to be confused when we move out of the Beaty's house lol. She still loves going outside and will get mad until she is outside. She loves taking a bath and tries climbing into the tub...she can get one whole leg up and almost in the tub. She likes standing under the kitchen table which is the perfect height for her, looking at windows and saying "car" or "truck." She loves hats and will put anything (hats, plates, cups) on her head and say "hat." She also points at things she wants.

Talking: Honestly I cannot keep track of everything she is saying or that is new from the last update 2 months ago. I swear whatever we say, she will repeat it. She says "milk" every night when she's ready for her milk. She also says "please" and "thank you" when we ask her to say them (she doesn't say it all the time lol). She says "snacks" all the time and LOVES getting snacks. She knows where we keep the snacks and where my sitter keeps her. At my sitter's she'll go and help herself to her snacks.  If she's in the kitchen and sees a banana she'll say "nana." She calls animal crackers "cookies." If she hears the train she'll say "choo choo." If I say "uncle ricky" she says something that sounds like "icky" lol! When I pick her up every day she says "Addie" and "Jax." She also says "mommy" alot...which I LOVE! When I put a headband on her I say "pretty" and she'll repeat "pretty." When I change her diaper she'll say "stinky" or "yucky." When she's around her Grandma Sharon and Grandpa Jim she will say "grandma" and "grandpa." She can also say "Nana" and "Poppy" and has been repeating Nana and Poppy every day. I think she misses them. :) If you give her mac n cheese she'll say "cheese" and point to it. This weekend she repeated blue and red when we told her the crayons are red and blue. She also repeats animals noises including pigs, sheep, dogs, cats and her favorite is ducks. While in a hotel this past weekend she had to sleep in a pack -n - play, after we put her down, we turned off the lights and turned the tv down (we were in the same room). She laid down, then jumped up and said "hey!" It was cute! I wish I had a pad of paper at all times to write down new words...but that can't happen.

Teeth: She still has ten teeth now. Four on top and six on bottom which includes two one year molars. Her eye teeth are also coming in but haven't popped through completely.

Likes: Going outside, visiting the Zoo, running, playing with her cousins, climbing on things, putting on hats, chasing daddy, purses.

Dislikes: Sharing and being told "no."

Ok, so my last update at one year I said I was trying to wean Soph from the bottle and paci. I accomplished the bottle...just need to work on the paci. :)
