We had Soph's third birthday party at our house this past weekend. We asked her acouple months ago what kind of party she wanted and she said "Ariel." We decided on an Ariel/under the sea theme. I think the party turned out really well, we had great weather and a lot of her friends and family came to celebrate with her.
My parents came Friday evening to help us get everything ready. A HUGE thank you to both my mom and dad for helping me decorate, cook, clean and get everything prepared. I don't know what I'd do without you guys! Since Elliott is on third shift he got home at 7 a.m. and had to sleep for acouple hours before Soph's party so he couldn't help out too much with the party.
Some of the decorations:
My dad filled over 100 balloons with water Friday night, he went to look at them on Saturday and all but about 30 had popped. He decided to fill 100 or so more up Saturday morning only to find them popped acouple hours later. We were really bummed.
Soph was ready for her birthday party:
We bought Soph this water slide/pool acouple months ago as an early birthday present. She's been afraid to go down the slide, however, Uncle Brian got her to go down it and she loved it.
I'd say she had a blast at her party:
Giving Auntie Kushie a big hug:
I attempted to get a family picture but Soph wasn't having it:
Some of the kids playing on the water slide:
Baby Preston:
I filled Soph's water/sand table with blue sand (along with the theme), however, sand and water don't go well together. It turned into a big mess but hey, the kids had fun with it.
The water slide was a big hit:
Singing "happy birthday" to Soph:
I won't be going with blue cupcakes again lol:
How cute are the Klinkers?
Mom, Olivia, Misty, me and Rhonda:
Of course, the kids had a blast with Zac:
Jim, Grandma Billie and El:
Brian, Grandma Billie and El:
Soph with her Uncle Brian and Aunt Tracy:
Soph with her grandparents:
My dad threw Olivia into the pool:
After mostly everyone left my sister gave Soph a bath and put on her nightgown. Then it was time to open up her presents. She literally ripped through them soo fast I could barely write down who got her what.
Soph loves Addie:
Giving out hugs:
Soph with her Uncle Dexter and Aunt Rhonda:
Then we let Soph let her balloons go into the sky:
Such a fun day. Thanks to everyone who came.
