First day back to work

So after nine great weeks with my little peanut I went back to work today. It was really hard leaving her this morning especially because she was sleeping so I couldn't kiss her goodbye, however, Elliott was with her all morning so that made it a little better. I did cry when I left and a little bit in the morning but I was soo busy at work so that made it better. Plus, Elliott sent me acouple pictures as did our babysitter so that was good. Sophia did great at Jasmine's this afternoon. Jasmine's son loved Sophia and she sent me a picture of him holding her which was super cute. I know she's in good hands but I just wish they were my hands. :)

This past week has been really rough for us. Meatball had a seizure two weeks ago at Jim and Sharon's house when we were at Maria's wedding. The week after he wasn't acting himself so we took him to the vet where they told us he was blind in one eye and we should take him to a specialist because he could have some issues with his brain which would explain the seizure. We took him to OSU and they told us he has brain disease and a tumor on his lungs. Elliott and I have been soo upset. We've had Meatball since he was a puppy which has been almost 9 years. He was our first baby and we don't know what we'll do without him. They gave us meds to control his brain from swelling which we thought was really helping because he's been more himself. Last night he had another seizure. It was awful. Today, Elliott called OSU and they called in some meds to help with the seizures. We're hoping they will help him. Fingers crossed.

Here's a picture of Sophia reading her favorite book:

Last week was really warm so we took acouple walks. Here's a picture before one of our walks:

I got Sophia this super cute outfit and the shirt says "I'm the good witch"

On Friday we took Sophia to the pumpkin patch. It was over 80 degrees and the sun was super hot. Once we got there they said we'd have to take a hay ride to the pumpkins. Well, it was super hot and I was worried Sophia would get burnt so we didn't go on the hay ride. Instead, we went into their market and got some pumpkins.

Here's a picture of El and Soph before picking a pumpkin:
